Her passion for food, and  vision for the business is to share her passion for New Zealand food & wine and to provide the tools to create great meals with minimum effort for maximum effect.

The Cafe

Headed by Executive Chef Phil Keen and Front of House Manager Barnaby Wylie, the Café is the most visible part of Seagars at Oxford. It showcases local produce and wine within a casual café atmosphere, and is open for breakfast and lunches 7 days a week. 


The Cook School

The Cook School Private Dining Room can be utilised by groups of up to 16 for meetings, private lunches or dinners. There is a small surcharge of $30 to book the prvate dining room. Phil would be delighted to talk to you about using these facilities.

 Nestled in the foothills of Oxford stands an historic 115 year old cottage. Here, in this tranquil setting a Cafe finds it's home. Cafe 51 provides a lovely meal and place to stop, especially if you are driving through on the scenic route. If you are going by in the evening, we open for dinner at 6pm and provide delicious dining by candle light.

Come in and you'll find a warm welcome with a relaxed atmosphere. The walls are decorated by local artwork, this means that they are always changing and providing something new to look at.

Cafe 51 is a fully liscensed cafe with an award winning chef. It is well organised with garden seating and wheel-chair access. There is great coffee and friendly staff.

Route 72 Cafe Bar Emporium

Experience the essence of the "Inland Scenic Route". A beautiful 20 minute drive from Pumula will bring you to the picturesque village of Cust.

The team at Route 72 Café Bar and Emporium invite you to discover the Route 72 Experience. Mouth watering cuisine, a glass of local wine, a cold beer or G & T (fully licenced) ... a view to amaze, ... or enjoy our superior organic coffee sourced from Fair Trade coffee farms to go with our home baking. The choice is yours!

The "Emporium" offers you  unique and interesting selection of gifts and homewares including jewellery, leadlight and a fantastic selection of home wares including leadlight and mood lighting, funky kitchen ware, local and imported art, aromatherapy, candles, children's gifts, as well as King's Seeds and outdoor furniture. There is also have a selection of French Country and wrought iron indoor furniture plus NZ wool, homespun's and local knitwear. The list goes on and on.

You can pass through Cust on the way to Rangiora and Christchurch.
